U.S. Import Duty Update (Effective Aug 29, 2025)
Overview
- Shipments to the United States will no longer qualify for the under $800 “de minimis” duty exemption. Thus, most imports will be subjected to CBP duties, taxes, and/or processing fees.
- Currently, prices at checkout exclude U.S. import duties/taxes.
- CBP may collect duties, taxes, and/or fees before delivery.
- Tax rates depend on type of products and country of origin.
- Please note that any duties or taxes will need to be paid by the recipient.
-
Refusing to pay may delay delivery or cause a return; related shipping/handling costs are non-refundable.
Effective August 29, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST, shipments to the United States will no longer qualify for the under $800 “de minimis” duty exemption. As a result, most imports—regardless of country of origin—may be subject to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) duties, taxes, and processing fees. Please note that any duties or taxes will need to be paid by the recipient.
Most products we sell originate from South Korea, China, or Japan. Duty and tax amounts are determined by the product's HS codes, country of origin, and any applicable trade programs. Thus, the estimated rates would range from 25%~50% or more, depending on the origin and type of goods the package holds. Exact rates for specific items are being verified and MAY DIFFER.
We are currently in works of adding an option during checkout to prepay duties/taxes (DDP) or to display an estimated amount in advance. Until this feature is available, prices shown at checkout DO NOT INCLUDE U.S. import duties/taxes.
If duties/taxes are required and a shipment is returned to us due to non-payment or refusal to pay, only the amount EXCLUDING the initial shipping charge, return shipping costs, and any re-import duties/fees will be refunded.
